Les Fines Lames Cigar Jewelry

You’re mingling at a party when suddenly cigars appear. Not expecting a smoke session, no one brought a cutter. But luckily you’re wearing your Punch Bracelet from Les Fines Lames. You unscrew it to reveal a cigar punch—and save the day. The French maker of smoking accoutrements provides an entire line of jewelry that prepares you for such smoking emergencies.

The lightweight, beaded Punch Bracelet is easy to use. Simply unscrew the clasps to reveal a seven-millimeter, stainless steel cigar punch blade, gently twist the blade into the cap of your cigar, screw the clasps back together and light up. Each model is supported by a sturdy, waxed cotton cord, the length of which easily adjusts from 15 to 21 centimeters. If bracelets aren’t your look, the new Le Tag necklace, available in October, has a guillotine cutter.

This year, Les Fines Lames introduced 40 models to the collection at various price points, adding an adjustable fit, new bead materials and additional gold and silver charms, rings and speciality pieces.

Prices vary from $78 a bracelet up to $258, starting with bead-only models, such as the Lava and Connoisseur models (top right and bottom left). The most variety—20 models—is offered at the $98 level. It includes additional silver charms, rings or skull pieces to go with an array of bead finishes, such as the Colorado Ring I and Ring II bracelets (top left and bottom right). The higher-priced models contain more expensive bead materials as well as gold-plated punches.

The new Le Tag necklace will be available in two versions, T-100 and T-135. Each necklace comes with a stainless-steel, guillotine-action cutter offered in various stylized finishes. The T-100 (pictured above, $250) is the smaller of the two, but the necklace bears an extra medallion, plated in gold and silver, that can be customized with 11 designs, sort of like a pair of ritzy dog tags. The T-135 ($90) isn’t as flashy but its larger size will accommodate most ring gauges. It will be available in a choice of five anodized aluminum colors.
