Habanos Festival Returns To Cuba In February
Cuba’s Habanos Festival, a weeklong celebration of Cuban cigars and an event that attracts cigar retailers, distributors and consumers from all around the world, will return to Havana on February 26. The show will conclude on March 1.
This will be the 24th iteration of the event, which includes visits to Cuba’s famed cigar factories, field trips to a tobacco farm, conferences, pairing contests and evening events showcasing new releases of Cuban cigars.
Previous Habanos Festivals have concluded with charity auctions, such as the one in 2020 which ended with a $2.7 million bid for a Cohiba humidor stuffed with all kinds of Cohiba cigars, a record at the time. Last year’s Festival ended with a $4.4 million bid for a Cohiba humidor, shattering the previous record.
