Ferio Tego 2023 Generoso And Elegancia Shipping This Month
Ferio Tego is ready to ship the third iteration of its annually released Generoso and Elegancia blends, which were the company’s first releases back in 2021. While both are the same size, the two blends are quite different, and are made by two different factories. They are expected to start arriving in stores October 24.
Rolled as 6-by-50 toros, the easiest way to distinguish between the two cigars is their wrappers. The 2023 Generoso features a darker wrapper, which is grown in Honduras, while the 2023 Elegancia is draped in a lighter cover leaf from Ecuador. The Elegancia is made in the Dominican Republic by the Quesadas, using a Dominican binder and mix of Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. The Generoso, which is rolled in Nicaragua by the Plasencias, is all Nicaraguan on the inside, with a sun grown binder and Nicaraguan filler.
Shipping in travel humidors of ten, both the Elegancia and Generoso have a suggested retail price of $230 per box, or $23 per cigar. The humidors also feature “smart packaging technology,” which provide customers with additional information regarding the blends via NFC chip.
Ferio Tego cigars are distributed by Davidoff of Geneva USA.
