A.J. Fernandez New World Redondo Now Available to All Retailers
What was once a limited-edition cigar available only to TAA members is now a regular-production size available to everyone. The New World Redondo by A.J. Fernandez debuted last year as a limited-edition cigar made exclusively for retail members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America. Now, the cigar is offered to all retailers.
The New World Redondo measures 6 1/2 inches by 55 ring gauge, comes in 20-count boxes and will retail for $8 each. According to the company, the cigar is shipping this week.
Translating to “round” in Spanish, Redondo is the only rounded parejo shape in the otherwise box-pressed New World brand. It’s composed of the same all-Nicaraguan tobacco as the rest of the New World sizes and rolled in Nicaragua by A.J. Fernandez at his Tabacalera A.J. Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua factory.
