A Decorative Jar Of Aged Vegas Robainas Just For Spain
There’s a new addition to Spain’s Sevilla Series of decorative cigar jars, and this year’s release contains 21 Vegas Robaina Unicos, Cuban pirámides that measure 6 1/8 inches by 52 ring gauge. According to Spain’s Habanos distributor, Tabacalera S.L.U., the cigars were rolled in 2016. The jars retail for 525 euros (about $575) or 25 euros per cigar, which amounts to approximately $27.40. Only 1,000 jars have been produced.
Fired and glazed at Spain’s La Cartuja de Sevilla manufacturer, these pieces of earthenware pottery are replicas of the Partagás and Ramon Allones jars that were popular in the mid 20th century.
This jar of Vegas Robaina Unicos is the seventh release in the Sevilla Series. Previous releases include the Ramon Allones Specially Selected in 2021 and the Romeo y Julieta Short Churchills the year before.
The Sevilla Series differs from the Vintage Collection, Spain’s other line of decorative ceramic cigars.
